Idebenone for Wrinkle Treatment

Idebenone is a drug which was developed by a Japanese company for the treatment of conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and other brain problems. How it Works

Idebenone works by eliminating free radicals in the skin which are caused by environmental factors such as pollution or stress. Reducing the free radicals in the skin can also boost the skin’s own production of collagen.

As well as being an ingredient in many of the leading anti-aging products on the market, idebendone is available in capsule format only. Best results for anti-aging though are found when applying the product directly onto the skin in a cream rather than taking it in capsule form.

As this product is relatively new on to the market, there is not much in the way of clinical data or trials to establish whether or not creams containing idebenone can be proven to work on the appearance of fine lines.
