Glycolix Elite Facial Cream is made by a pharmaceutical company and is available in a variety of strengths. The website does not make any extravagant claims about how much it can reduce your wrinkles by, or that it can make you appear decades younger. The claims made for are just that it will moisturize skin and that it contains a range of vitamins and extracts which will help soften and improve the general condition of your skin. It is sold in a small pot, and should be used twice daily, on freshly cleaned skin. The product is cheaper than most of the similar anti aging products on the market.
How Glycolix Works
The key ingredients in the Glycolix products are glycerine and squalane to moisturize and soften the skin, and a variety of vitamins which help fight damage caused to the skin by environmental factors known as free radicals. All of the moisturizing ingredients in the products have been demonstrated to be effective in clinical testing, as have the vitamins and other ingredients. The texture of the product is light and non greasy, so it is suitable even for those with oily or combination skin types.
There is no reason to believe that this product will not perform exactly as it promises, but it is not making very much in the way of promises either. All it is saying is that using the Glycolix products will nourish and moisturize your skin, but the same claims could be made for even the most basic of moisturizing creams sold through supermarkets or bargain basement drugstores. There are no claims about making you younger or reducing wrinkles, but this is fair given that the product does not contain any of the ingredients you would expect to find in products which fight wrinkles, crows feet or fine lines. Because of the lack of active ingredients and no real claim of helping with lines or wrinkles Glycolix was out of the running for the best wrinkle cream.
If you are looking for an anti aging product, Glycolix is not one to consider. It does not contain any of the right ingredients to fight the signs of aging, and is not really marketed as such either. It is a competent moisturizer though, and will certainly make your skin softer and more supple. There are several reviews of the product online which state that most users are happy with the ability of Glycolix as a moisturizer. It is debatable though whether it is worth spending the extra money on Glycolix, or just buying any over the counter cheaper moisturizer which does the same job for a lot less money.
