Gabamed Review

gabamedGabemed is a product marketed as a good alternative to Botox, and is produced by Palm Beach Medical Cosmetics. Gabamed works by smoothing out fine lines, wrinkles and crows feet around the eyes.

How does Gabamed Work?

Gabamed makes much of the comparison with Botox, and the product is even packaged to look like a syringe. Whereas Botox paralyses the muscles in the face, Gabamed contains gamma amino-butyric acid (GABA) which relaxes the nerves in the skin without the need for injections or the risk of long lasting damage.

GABA is an amino acid which claims to reduce the depth of wrinkles for 75% of the women who have tried the product. Gabamed does not publish a full list of the ingredients in the product though, and when a company does not disclose this it makes you wonder why they are not being public with the information. This was a big part of us determining the best wrinkle cream, so unfortunately without a list of ingredients that put Gabamed out of the running. The claims of Gabamed are indeed impressive, but there are no clinical trials or scientific evidence to back up the claims. The testimonials on the website appear to be from genuinely happy customers, but websites are always going to be selective with what they publish and it would be very useful to get independent verification of the results. The product is designed to be used once a day, and the syringe dispenser shows exactly how much of the product you should be using in every dose. The company doesn’t make any claims about any permanent results from the cream, but does say that the temporary results achieved are very good, and superior to products like Botox.

Conclusion

Gabamed are offering a free trial of their cream, which is the best way to try the product risk free at home and decide whether it works for you or not. The regular price of the product is quite high though so it would be a costly cream to use on a daily basis. As the full list of ingredients isn’t given, it is also difficult to assess whether the cream does actually work. For people with sensitive skin or allergies it would be wise to avoid this product as there is no way of knowing whether you will react to something in it.

It is worth taking up Gabamed’s free trial offer to see whether the product suits you and whether you see a difference when using it. However, as there is no clinical evidence that the product actually works, it might be worth going for another, more established product which can demonstrate real results.
