Dermitage Review
Dermitage produces a full range of beauty products for general skin care, eye care and fore use on the body. The eye care range has two products, one called Dark Circle Eye Crème, and the other a anti-wrinkle eye serum. There is also an instant lifting cream which claims to start working immediately, with noticeable results within just a few minutes.
How does Dermitage Work?
The main ingredients in the Dermitage products are their own patented ingredient of Rejuvaline which is a combination of Lifting Spheres, glucosamine, antioxidants and moisturising ingredients. Glucosamine Complex is said to stimulate your body’s production of collagen which helps smooth out wrinkles and make skin appear more plump and firm. Lifting Spheres are talked about extensively on the Dermitage website and in product literature, but there is no information given about what they are made of and how they work on the skin.
The claim is that the lifting spheres settle beneath the surface of the skin and stop the moisture escaping, but without knowing what the Spheres are, it’s impossible to see whether this claim is true or not. Antioxidants in the product help repair damage caused by environmental factors and the other ingredients moisturize and soothe the skin. The anti-aging products are designed to be used once a day, either at night or in the morning, and the website claims that results should be clearly visible after 12 weeks’ use (pretty standard time frame for results amongst the best wrinkle cream). It is compatible with all other products so you can use it with other moisturizers, make up or creams.
Dermitage is available on a free trial, which gives you the two step anti aging program products to try and evaluate at home. If you don’t see results, they will refund your money, less shipping. To get the product though you’ll have to go online and order it as it is not available in stores. On their website there are lots of testimonials from satisfied customers, and some pictures showing dramatic improvements in skin condition after using the products.
Conclusion
There is however very little actual scientific proof to say whether or not the claims for the product are accurate. The lack of information about the Lifting Spheres seems a bit suspect, and there are many reviews on the internet from customers who have not liked the product at all; these far outweigh any positive comments about the brand.
As the products are available on a free trial, there is no harm in ordering them and trying them to see if they work for you. Some of the more striking claims they make though can’t be substantiated with evidence.
