Clinique Total Turnaround Review

Clinique is a well established and respected brand, with a reputation for high quality beauty products across the entire beauty and make up spectrum. Their anti-aging range, called Turnaround, comprises both a skin renewer and a body cream. Turnaround is designed to be used in conjunction with Clinique’s other cleansing, toning and moisturizing products as a final step at the end of your daily beauty routine.

How Does Clinique Total Turnaround Work?

It’s impossible to discuss the active ingredients in the product and explain how they work to reverse the aging process as Clinique do not publish the list of ingredients in any of their products. As a consequence there are also no clinical trials or scientific data about the ingredients to look at and make a decision as to whether the product will actually do as it says. This isn’t just the case for the Turnaround range, as Clinique follow the same labelling policy for all of their products. Unfortunately as we used key ingredients as a big part in choosing the best anti wrinkle cream we had a tough time ranking Clinique turnaround high in our ratings.

Clinique’s products do have a reputation for quality and performing well, but in times when we’re all feeling the squeeze on our pockets and watching what we spend, shouldn’t we have the right to know exactly what we’re spending on? Unlike many of the other anti aging creams on the market, Clinique don’t offer a free sample size of the product, so in order to see whether the range works for you, you’ll have to invest in the full size products. The upside is that the range is available in many outlets, including department stores, where you may be able to try some after a conversation with a sales person.

Conclusion

As there are no clues as to what the ingredients in the products are, we can only base any review on what other users have said about the products, and reviews are mixed. People who are loyal to the Clinique brand in general seem to love the product and feel that it works well for them. Others haven’t seen any difference in their skin after using the product and think their money would have been better spent elsewhere. A smaller group have even reported that the products were harsh on their skin, causing blotchiness and oiliness.

When choosing a skin care product most of us like to know what is in it, and as such it is hard to recommend that anyone goes out and invests in the Turnaround range. It may work for some people, but the lack of any real evidence and success in trials leads to the conclusion that the perceived success is more due to the respected brand name of Clinique than to any miracle ingredients within the products themselves.
