Are Anti Wrinkle Products the Quick Ticket to Youth?

In an age where we all want something for nothing and we don’t want to put the time into get the results we desire are anti wrinkle creams supplying us with an alternative to keeping healthy to stay younger?

This is the premise set out in an article I read today. The fact that we know we need to take care of oursleves, get lots of sleep, eat our veggies, drink lots of water and all that other good stuff doesn’t mean that we do it.

More times then not most of us are run off our feet from our job only to get home and have a drink or two which interrupts our health sleep patterns and then eat a processed meal. OK maybe that’s the extreme but you get the point.

So are products like an instant wrinkle remover simply just a band aid to a bigger problem?

I think there needs to be a wider range look at this. Depending on an individuals lifestyle it is possible that you could find your self using wrinkle removers and other anti aging products sooner then is required. This would be in a situation where lifestyle choices have aged you faster then you should have. How ever for other women and men who have aged well and opt to use an anti wrinkle treatment I don’t feel they should be critiqued or penalized for it.

The truth is our appearance and beauty is valued in today’s culture. Because of this it makes sense that the market is flooded with products to help maintain our youthful appearance. Does it mean it’s a quick ticket? I don’t think so. Does it mean that some of us should learn to take better care of ourselves so we don’t find ourselves at forty using a $100 tube of serum a month to give us an eye lift? Yes…

Here’s the original article I read that set this post in motion.
